![]() Of course, it's possible to set up the Fastmail account to ignore message delivery notifications.Do any of the missing messages have content which might be viewed as spammy?.Are you sure that the Gmail account didn't have forwarding without saving enabled?.Have you checked the recipient Gmail account for any filters which might be blocking some of these messages?. ![]() Do you get any delivery problem notification messages in your Fastmail account?.When re-sending one of these missing messages, does the message go through the second try?.Do you see the message in the Fastmail Sent Items folder, and did you confirm that the To address was correct and try to send it again?.If using the Fastmail web interface, did you check the Drafts folder to see if the message was saved but not sent?.If sent via an email client, did you check the Outgoing folder (or whatever name is used by that client) for messages which were not actually sent?.When a message is missing, was it sent via the Fastmail web interface, or via a local email client through the SMTP server?.Are you sure the missing messages didn't happen to have the same subject as a previous message, so they were combined into an old Gmail thread?.Of course, Gmail uses a threaded view (which I find very aggravating). But I don't check this very often, and if one in one hundred messages were dropped I might have missed this. I automatically redirect a copy of each incoming message to my main Fastmail account to my Gmail account as backup, and I have never found any missing messages.
